Megan is an actor, writer, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. Her background is in musical theatre, and she holds a BFA from Wichita State University. She's performed in regional theatre and Equity houses across the country, has starred in a number of short films and narrative music videos, and is continuing to pursue both stage and screen work in LA.

Megan wrote, produced, and starred in the short film A Broadway Body (completed 2022). Throughout the development process of the film, she had the opportunity to chat with many fellow creatives, peers in musical theatre, female-identifying humans, and people who were also struggling with body image issues stemmed from any and all aspects of societal conditioning. Upon completing the film, (which is now on the festival circuit) Megan was, then, inspired to continue the conversations that began back in 2021 during development.

When Megan is not acting, podcasting, or filmmaking, she is the owner of Megan Transcribes, a podcast transcription company that supports female-identifying podcast hosts, and loves to relax on the beach, do yoga and barre, and play with dogs!
